Don’t Miss These Seattle 2025 Earth Week Festivities
Earth Day is Tuesday, April 22. So this seems like a good time to remind everyone about how sustainable diaper choices contribute to a healthier environment. Here are five things about diapers we think every parent should know:
- A single baby can go through over 6,000 diapers before potty training.
- Disposable diapers take up to 500 years to break down in landfills.
- Cloth diapers can be reused 200+ times, reducing waste and saving money.
- Using a diaper service reduces your household trash while conserving time and water compared to home washing.
- Diaper Stork continues to innovate, and received a grant from the Washington Department of Commerce to test the benefits of composting diapers into nutrient-rich material called Biochar.
